Depeche Mode on 92.7 WLIR / WDRE

Postby MARV » Tue Mar 15, 2005 9:19 am

I'm burning discs of all my old tapes - lots of stuff from Long Island's best radio station that ever was [:p]
The process will take a while to get completely done, so I'll just start letting people know which ones I complete as I go along. I have interviews, concerts, dance mixes...mostly stuff from my fav bands.

Anyway, I just finished several Depeche Mode interviews from the 80's - 90's plus a radio concert from Hamburg. Anybody remember the Tuesday Night Concert Series? [:)] Man, did I love that show [8D]

Any Depeche Mode fans out there that want me to send them some discs? They come with nicely designed covers with photography and the 92.7 logo. E-mail me if you're interested. I think $10 should cover the postage for the six discs. Does this sound fair? If you have stuff I want we could just do a straight trade, no ship./hand. charge. If you're a serious DM fan and you want some stuff outside of the radio, I can give you a list of what I have like bootlegs and unreleased stuff.

I would be interested in some LIR Staffer Airchecks (Sue, Larry, Maxx, Barry, Bird, Dennis, Donna, etc..) from the mid to late 80's heyday as well as any those local business 'shtick' promotional ads from back then.
I would love to hear those again.
