This is an interesting one.....

Manchester - autumn 1983 - produced by Peter Hook

Only 7" released.....

The Dub Mix is the stand out track here....if that makes any sense..... :)

Enjoy! :D

Greetings, this may be flogging the proverbial dead horse, but does anyone have a high quality digital rip of all 3 tracks on this 7 inch? As mentioned, the dub mix really is something - the drums are fantastic!

Here you go.....

I guesss its your lucky day.....and mine as well, because I have just found this half an hour ago. :)
Thanks to the original uploader.

This is as big as it gets, as far as file size is concerned......although its clear that the vinyl wasnt in perfect condition.....
it would certainly benefit from a bit of remastering - Gazebo style......

:D

As far as the release itself.....honestly, I am a little bit surprised this was released only as a 7" single.
Since it says "autumn 1983" on the back cover, we`re talking probably only a couple of weeks
after the release of Confusion and a mere 6 months or so after Blue Monday.......
when New Order were really just getting into the 12" groove.......so Peter Hook could have easily done this
in a more comprehensive way, but I guess he didnt feel in this case it was necessary......

Thank you very much for this. Far better quality than I ever hoped for - I will have a go at remastering these myself, so much easier with a lossless source file. Cheers!
