Hello all,

I just couldn't resist in doing my part to keep our music alive! Thank you to everyone who enjoyed and supported the Digital 80's series! Great times, great memories and met so many great people along the way!

In keeping with Digital 80's, I decided to begin a new chapter with a series called "Lost But Not Forgotten 80's" and it will basically be a continuation of where we left off with Digital 80's. To date, I still have approximately 150 remastered tracks ready to go. My plan is to release one volume per week and then delete the download link so we can move on.

PSS: Please, this in NO way is to take away sales from any of the artists included here but rather a way to discover or rediscover these timeless masterpieces as many of them have never officially appeared on CD or are long "Out Of Print". Please support these bands if they should have material available! They deserve all the credit!

“In Memory Of Dave “Swerve” Myrvold”

I hope you enjoy!

Paul (Gazebo Music)

Ps: Feedback always welcome!

Paul,

Let me be the first to reply to this thread and express my gratitude and excitement for you sharing all of these lost, but now not forgotten tracks. I'm always amazed at just how many talented artists were creating music back in the 80's, and I barely heard 1% of them on mainstream radio. The tracks you've curated deserve to be celebrated and shared with people. These new collections are the best way of honouring the memory of Dave, because we all know he'd be excited to share them too!

Counterfeit - The Good Samaritan......what a way to start this series!

Somewhat unusual that such a great track came from the year 1989, when the good things happening in the synth pop genre were far and few......

Tony Martin - Barriers is another great one from 1984. Worth noting that this is the extended version.

Couldn’t agree more Xymox970! How some of these songs weren’t huge hits still baffles me today!

Glad you approve!

Cheers

Thank you Crichert,

Absolutely agree! Some of the best 80s tracks went unnoticed and never seen any radio play! Shame! Along with Rissan, we will do our best to expose / preserve some of these gems!

Enjoy!!!

Dear Paul, thank you so much for another great selection of rarities. I can't wait to listen to them all since i'm only familiar with KTP and Counterfeit! Paul, if i may impose on you. There was a song in the late 80s i believe that i have been after but never released on digital nor various compilation and remastered album. The song has a great catchy melody. It's by the group called XYMOX - At The End of The Day (Hutchinson Remix). In my opinion, far better than the A-side which was the Endless Day Mix. Please consider this track on your future project. Just dying to get a WAV copy of this rare mix. Thank you again and stay safe!

I was introduced to Sid Luscious from this compilation. The first album is good , but if you haven't heard it, Pantemonium is even better.
