New Wave Outpost Forum

Well, so now is my second attempt to stop this I dug so deep into my mountains of music I practically exhausted everything. Maybe some further stuff will emerge with time, I feel it's kind of inevitable, actually, but for now that seems to be the extent of what I have. I kind of thought 40 volumes are possible, but not now. 380 songs are quite enough, though! Lack of comments suggests as much, too.

Speaking of these two new volumes, #37 is comprised of, let's say, unorthodox and non-linear interpretations. It's not the kind of "New Wave" immediately recognizable to most but it was an important current of said wave - deconstructions of pop and rock standards etc. May sound alien at first, but will grow on you soon - it did on me! #38 meanwhile is regular eclectic stuff - synthed-up and modernized readings, some unusual, some rather traditional. The Metronomes, Cat Gang and, of course, The Residents stand out (to me, at least).
