Thank you for this post. I have never heard of this compilation. Is Richard a DJ?

Richard was a well-known DJ on several California radio stations but was huge on Los Angeles KROQ. His Wikipedia page gives more details:

Thanks i just found out about him today. I might order his book on Amazon next week.

His book is a very easy read. I found his European trips interesting (it was where he got his start), I wish he had spent more time on lesser known artists he championed since I wasn't in Los Angeles. It seemed to be geared towards INXS, Terri Nunn (former gf - Berlin lead vocalist), and "Hey, I was there when this happened to this big name artist". But it's not bad, and he admits when he screwed things up.
