Numan - The Fury Remixes? Live? Reqs, Or Info

Postby Sundayguy » Fri Apr 01, 2022 12:22 pm

Recently found this on Discogs here --->>> https://www.discogs.com/release/1342384 ... y-Remixes-
An unofficial release, but one I hadn't heard of, and though I've tried to search for it many places have had no luck tracking
this down, to purchase, or even low quality files, just to give it a listen..

Anyone have info on where I can give this a listen, or have a rip they can share? If so, please post/reply, I'd very much appreciate it.

Also, while on Numan, and The Fury period, I'm still looking for a rip of the double LP Gary Numan – Ipswich 5-10-'85.
I remember seeing this at a record store at the time, and though I picked it up, I put it back, deciding on picking up a couple of The Fury
12" singles, and a pic disc, instead. Now I wish I'd have picked it up back then, and have been looking for the audio, with no luck, since!

A share would be most welcome, and end a very long search!
Discogs page here --->>> https://www.discogs.com/release/3652978 ... ch-5-10-85

Big thanks, in advance all!

Translated the page, tried to log on, it wouldn't let me. Also couldn't create a new log in, and had no luck. I saw no way to add to cart of purchase, maybe because I'm in the USA? So... maybe someone who has this can offer up a rip, even a lower quality one?

We have Dutchmen here, can they help???

There is another bootleg version, "Fury Redux (singles and remixes)", not listed on Discogs, cover not found either, with a tracklist different from what is discussed in this topic.

It is here in FLAC for you to enjoy:

This LP, is it a low quality audience recording? I saw a 15/10/85 Ipswich gig record on one torrent site, but record quality was too low to listen to.

Hi Uvox,

Thanks for the help with these hard to find Numan bits. The Fury (singles and remixes) isn't an authentic release, just someone compiled 12" and 7" single track versions and added in some B sides and Razormaid remixes, probably for their own listening and sharing. Though in FLAC format the vinyl rips are very scratchy.

As far as the Live LP, it's a show recorded 10 days (I think?) before the lower quality (and agreeably barely listenable) audience recording you mentioned. I had found a few random tracks, years ago, supposedly taken from the 2 LP Live bootleg album, and they sounded more like unmixed soundboard recordings, if memory serves. I could kick myself, now, that I didn't buy that vinyl when I had it in my hands, a long time ago!
