Hello, hoping someone can help me. Is the long version of Original Sin by INXS available digital (album, compilation)? Having a hard time searching on Discogs.

The versions are as follows:

• 3:46 Single Version, a.k.a. Edit = 7" A-side
• 6:22 Long Version, a.k.a. Extended Version, a.k.a. LP Version = 12" A-side
• 5:59 Dance Dub, a.k.a. Dance Version = 12" B-side
• 5:16 actual album version from The Swing (released April 1984)

The first three debuted in December 1983 in Australia/NZ, early 1984 everywhere else (despite often having just 1983 copyrights).

Based on a scroll through the recordings listed on MusicBrainz, it doesn't look like the Long Version was ever released on CD. DjPaulT's vinyl rip of the US promo 12" is the best source I know of. (24/96 or 16/44.1)

"LP Version" was just what it was called on the US promo 12", before the release of the album, which ended up having a different edit on it.

The Dance Version was released in 1990 on a US promo CD: Compilation / New Music from INXS. Looks like there was a Canadian version too.
