Hello NWO, Hope everyone is safe & well!

As many of you probably know by now, on July 19th, we lost the talented and very overlooked singer behind the cult following synth hit “Goodbye Horses”, Q. Lazzarus (Diane Luckey) at age 61. Anyone who has researched her life and musical journey will agree, it is truly fascinating and sad at the same time! Such a shame the music industry couldn't see, what we hear..... To honor Diane and her forever haunting masterpiece, I have included the original first Demo of what would become (in my opinion) the greatest obscure now mainstream New Wave 80's track of all time! R.I.P. Q!

Note: At the time of her death, Luckey was finishing work on a feature documentary about her life and music with filmmaker and friend, Eva Aridjis. According to her family obituary, the film will be released in 2023, along with an album of songs spanning her entire musical career.

Please read as links will only be up for one week or less if asked to remove!

I encourage you to give each track a listen at some point as you may be pleasantly surprised....

I have done my best to remaster all the tracks included here with the best sound possible! If I have used tracks that have appeared on others previous compilations, I apologize as this was not intentional!

Please note, this in NO way is intended to take away sales from any of the artists included here but rather a way to discover or rediscover these timeless masterpieces as many of them have never officially appeared on CD or are long "Out Of Print". Please support these bands if they should have material available! They deserve all the credit!

Been listening to these comps all day.
Just found out that Shirley Manson of "Garbage" was a member of Goodbye Mr. McKenzie.

Glad to see people enjoying these latest additions!

Xymo, I had a funny feeling you would like that track :D ! Dekodil was ripped from his excellent and only LP released in 1984:

Ps: "The Death of Salesman" is a wonderful track no doubt and correct Fred, Shirley Manson has been around the music scene for a very long time!

Cheers
