The Darrows - Cellar Into Eaves (1986)

Can't believe I found this on bandcamp today. I've owned multiple LP copies, all noisy, but this is now on bandcamp as a FREE DOWNLOAD. The album from start to finish is an 80s jangle pop classic. Believe these guys were a band out of the Philadelphia area. The fact the band is offering it as a FREE download is amazing, I would have paid good $$ to download it, but it does not ask for money, just says it is free. A classic overlooked gem in my opinion. Sounding almost pristine. Certainly light years better than my vinyl copies (even though looking mint and well cleaned).

They also have their 1989 4-Track EP for FREE. Two studio and two live tracks. Not as jangly as the 1986 release but the studio tracks are decent, including a cover of Cathy's Clown.
