Hi!
Does anyone of you own an original vinyl copy of Ultravox's White China? I have an mp3 version of the song but I would like to find out if this was white label or a BMG release in the 80's.

One of my favorite Ultravox songs!
As far as I know, it was never released as a single, and there is no 12" mix. However, Razormaid! released an extended mix of it in '84, and it's likely what you already have.

White China (apart from appearing as an album track) was the b-side to Love's Great Adventure, although this was a live version - Hammersmith I think. This live version also appeared on the Rare Vol 2 CD.
There is however a 'Special Mix' clocking in at about 8:23 which appeared on original versions of the Lament CD (like my copy).
The current verison of the Lament CD (EMIGold pressing) also contains this version.
