How can I have an opinion (?), simple... Fruits (actions/past posting history)... in your case, by viewing your post history. If what I said was a lie, then others can view your past post history and judge rightly for themselves if what I said was falsehood. But you admit as much yourself, then excuse it as "others might like what I ask for help in" and "I don't have time for that, because it is a fast paced world"... One excuse I would venture to say is "somewhat true"... There is a chance others would enjoy the song you ask help for, but that discounts that more likely others just want to help for help sake with a subject they share a common interest in (namely 80s music). A challenge to help solve a song that defies the "fast pace" world that dictates your excuse that even a 5 y/o kid would understand as "rude" to not acknowledge. Nobody gets paid here, and their time is given freely, but for most that are even remotely human, a "Thank You" is occasionally expected in polite company for their troubles.

You said "I do things out of my own satisfaction"... I believe it. Perhaps it is time to understand giving a "thanks" can bring out the best in others so you have more of that "satisfaction".

That said, I noticed you did venture to say "thank you" for recent solve from another kind person. Thank You to you for doing so. Some people (including myself if honest) can live a week on a well meaning reply acknowledging appreciation for their help. Kinds words can be classified as "Words of Affirmation"... to some it is not that important, to other people it is. I guess you can determine which camp I reside, so much that I made my first comment to you even at risk of being called out for it (which I was).

Perhaps we both learned something in the long run. You may have the final word if so inclined.
