My everything

My everything

Postby ebbhead » Mon Aug 16, 2004 8:31 am

Not sure of the lyrics, but I've heard 2 versions (I believe), one with more of a harmony vocals and the other with a vocalist that sounds sort of like Pete Shelley.

Best as I can recall, the lyrics are something like:

My ...
My ...
My only true sensation (guessing here)
My ...
My ...
My only fascination
My everything
My everything

Ideas? I'm sure someone here knows. [:)]

ebbhead,

You have a good ear; it *sounds* like "Are Everything" by The Buzzcocks (Pete Shelley vocals).

The song can be found on many Buzzcocks comps. It's on my remastered version of "Singles Going Steady" as a bonus track.

Good call ElectricLash... definately "Are Everything". Great song. Love the slow fade out... then BAM! We're not done yet [}:)]

Heaven 17 did a great cover of it (b-side to "I'm Your Money"), which even Pete Shelley approved of.

One more question. Anyone know if the Heaven 17 version has been released on CD? I know it's on vinyl and it's available on GEMM and MusicStack, but would love to have on CD.

Or, would anyone be willing to forward me a copy? I'll be your best friend

I have a copy ripped from vinyl, so I can't say it's the best quality. Let me know if you're interested, ebbhead
