I've been trying to identify this song since summer of 2017. It's something recent and obviously inspired by Power, Corruption, Lies (1983) by New Order. SoundHound didn't work on my old phone so I recorded this onto my phone in my car with the presumption that I could research it later. I couldn't find anything online back in 2017. I heard this song on the local college radio station. I contacted the station's Facebook page that night and they didn't respond. It's been four years now, lol. I've tried to find it so many times. Maybe someone out there will recognize the song or artist. I can't believe I didn't think about adding it to YouTube before. I desperately hoped that the YouTube copyright bot would alert me to the artist's information before I submitted the video, but YouTube's copyright bot didn't recognize it.

The VOLUME escalates at 1:26.

Anyway, it's a cool song. Please help me identify it. My best interpretation of the lyrics are below:

LYRICS (from what I can tell):
Verse:
"I got to love something. I got to hate you. You know I got my reasons. I got my old friends. I got my hiding places. I got my medicine.
I got my hiding places. I got my medicine."
Chorus:
"I live in fire, fire. I'm gonna take you down. I live in fire, fire. I'm gonna take you down."

It could also say "I'm leaving fire" in the chorus.
