German band in robes and hoods

German band in robes and hoods

Postby Rayocass » Mon Mar 07, 2022 1:20 pm

Hello -

I'm trying to identify a band from a video on EXPTV's "Video Breaks"
They typically run obscure videos from the 1970s and '80s.
This particular video has a zdf.kultur watermark (see link).
I'm not sure if it is a NDW band, the music seemed quite proggy.
They performed in robes and there was a choir of school children.

The Band is called "Pink Project" and the Song is "Disco Project".

An Italian Band Project as far as I know.
The Song is a Mix up between Pink Floyd and Alan Parsons.

They had also other Titles as B.Project ( Billie Jean meets Jeopardy) as well.

Amazing.
Thank you, Guestofthe80s.
I only heard a snippet - and the solo at that -
So it was funny to see they're pretty much a cover band.
Love the fact that they're wearing monster masks under those hoods.
