The Andy Warhol Diaries - Netflix Series (Episode 3)

The Andy Warhol Diaries - Netflix Series (Episode 3)

Postby anfunny2003 » Thu Mar 17, 2022 9:31 am

Hello all! I hope someone can help...

In episode 3 of the Netflix show, 'The Andy Warhol Diaries', there is an 80s synth-pop song heard at approx. 6.5 minutes in. The internet is going crazy trying to find the song! There are tweets, queries on SoundHound, Shazam, etc. and no one has been able to get a response from Amanda Krieg Thomas yet (she put the soundtrack together). It's the scene regarding Andy's own modelling career and the lyrics sang in a male voice are something like;

Work it out, 'cause I've got dreams
We wait for a love I can feel
It doesn't seem to be a choice
To take control
To make the grade
It's sometimes easier said than done...

Or you can hear it in this clip posted on Twitter;

I think it was already established to be production music, not available commercially: Ultrasonic Sound Factor of One.

Full version of the song was uploaded by the artist himself in 2022 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlWVqjp6PHE

I believe the song you are referring to is "Easier Said Than Done" by The Billionaires Club. The band was formed in 1986 and was known for its synth-pop and dance tracks. "Easier Said Than Done" was released as a single in 1988 and appeared on their album "Something Wicked Comes This Way". The song features the lyrics you mentioned and has a catchy, upbeat melody that fits the 80s synth-pop genre. Realtor in Miami
