I have to echo that as well.

With so many recent releases being disappointing - The RA series is quality.
I hope volume 7 will be a success & that volume 8 is on the way.

I got my copy today, and I absolutely love it!!!!! It's brilliant! I was really looking forward to a couple tracks here: "Suffer The Children [Remix]" by Tears For Fears and "Send My Heart [Across The Sea Mix]" by The Adventures. The whole volume does not disappoint. Excellent quality, sound, packaging, design, liner notes, etc. I really hope that volume 8 is in the works! Thank you to everyone involved in this wonderful project!

i received mine today, and sadly, I don't know if this is across the board, but on my disc, the opening note of Brand New Lover is clipped. I'm kinda surprised because the Retro Active series is top notch and I've never come across any of these kinds of problems on their discs before.

The Bridge by Cactus World News would be a good idea for RA8.

[/quote] I did notice the intro on Brand New Lover. It's hardly noticeable but yes about 1 sec. is clipped off . Anyway the rest of the cd is top notch. The remastering of the Belouis Some track is awesome.

More like a small fraction of a second at best. Hardly noticeable. And depending on your playback mode (computer vs. CD player) it may not be apparent at all. (Which, of course, doesn't excuse a faulty authoring job, but it shouldn't turn off any potential buyers.)

Bought this and enjoying it. Have all but two of these and plan to get the others in the future. You've done a great job on these Alex. Hopefully it will continue. It's really sad the number of 12" mixes from the late 80s and early 90s that have never made it to a cd and will never get the remasted sound quality treatment.
