Looking through my TV records, it seems that as the lights go down was shown on UK TV (ITV) on the 30th dec 1984. Star Wars was shown before. However I also found that in May 1984, a show called High Band broadcast a live concert from Toronto. Anybody know anything about this and whether it has ever been released on DVD?. The text says that the show is from March 84.

Here are my full notes from my UK TV and Radio archives. Can anyone help with missing info?

RADIO (DATES SHOWN ARE BROADCAST DATES NOT DATES OF LIVE PERFORMACNES)

April 03, 1982 IN CONCERT DURAN DURAN 6.30PM (available as a digital download to coincide with the Duran Duran remaster)

December 11, 1982 IN CONCERT DURAN DURAN 6.30PM (available as digital download to coincide with Rio remaster)

Saturday, August 13, 1983 IN CONCERT DURAN DURAN 6.30PM (any info regarding this concert??. A repeat of one of the previous shows??)

Friday, May 26, 1989 IN CONCERT DURAN DURAN 10PM (available as digital download to coincide with Big Thing remaster)

There may have been a Birmingham Radio broadcast in 87, as I had a bootleg of it once. It was probably broadcast on local radio.

TV

Duran Duran, ITV special shown in 1982. 30 mins. Could be an interview or possibly the 1982 Hammersmith Apollo video (was this ever broadcast?)

Friday, May 18, 1984, Channel 4 HIGH BAND: Duran Duran live: "well, they were at the time, this musical video, showing for the time and featuring hits like Planet Earth and Rio was recorded last March in Toronto."

Saturday, December 29, 1984 ITV SING BLUE SILVER 11PM, shown after the classic comedy show Spitting Image :-)

Sunday, December 30, 1984 ITV AS THE LIGHTS GO DOWN 5PM, shown after Star Wars (the first movie)

ARENA: An absurd notion. ITV. Shown for the first time on UK TV in 1987 and repeated in late night time slots on ITV over the next few years.

Can anyone help with US broadcasts? ATLGD was shown on US cable TV. The New York 87 show was broadcast on US radio. BBC broadcasts were repackaged for some shows ie King Biscuit. The Milan 88 show I assume was shown on Italian TV. Was "working for the skin trade" ever broadcast anywhere??

Duran Duran, ITV special shown in 1982. 30 mins.
This was the interview taken from Channel 4's "Midsummer Night's Tube" featuring Jools Holland interviewing the band during the making of "Ragged Tiger". It was reshown on ITV.

Friday, May 18, 1984, Channel 4 HIGH BAND: Duran Duran live.
This was an edited version of the Hammersmith Apollo gig from 1982.
