That Toyah best of was great.I wish they had put less echo all over Rebel Run when it was recorded though. This best of made up for the terrible reissues of Minx and Love is the law.

<br>the US versions had extra tracks I think, remixes of secret garden and everything counts. I just ripped the PMC audio from my DVD discs.

How do you rip the DVD bonus tracks to iTunes? I have tried but was unsuccessful so any assistance would be great.

I use DVD Audio Extractor http://www.castudio.org/dvdaudioextractor/ it works a treat.

> I have the 2002 version of Once Upon A Time which i thought sounded good. All the SM 2002 re-issues were good i guess.

The dude who does the Dreamgiver site said that Once Upon a Time sounded muddy when compared to the original.

The site is down, and even if it were up, good luck trying to find the review! It was in the News section when the remasters were first released.

Seems Once Upon A Time is the worst of the remasters http://www.simpleminds.org/sm/news/n2002/index.htm That's a bugger because i have the original CD and the remaster is going cheap on amazon. There are two versions SIMCDX7 released in 2002 and SIMCD7 released in 2003 the latter being part of the remaster series done by Simon Heyworth. The SIMCDX7 one seems to have been remastered by Bob Ludwig does anybody know if this one sounds better ? Damm seems they are both the same Which brings me onto the worst of the remasters in terms of audio: Once Upon A Time. It sounds more muffled and undefined with everything merging in a mushy mix

I was under the impression that the 2002 CDX releases were the same, except for the limited edition vinyl-replica packaging. Are you sure it's not the SACD or DVD-Audio releases that were remastered by a different person?
