Funky Town Grooves

Funky Town Grooves

I just want to say that this label is really doing their best on a lot of reissues lately.

I bought a couple of CD's from them (Nona Hendryx, LaToya Jackson) and they are all from mastertapes, even the bonus tracks (and I mean ALL of them). The sound is so incredibly crisp, it's almost unreal. Mastering is not loud. There is some very good information in the booklets about the actual albums and singles. I very much like what is going on with this label and will continue buying from them. It's a safe bet.

Thumbs up!

they're really fantastic. I too just began buying directly from them. They are really digging into the archives and bringing tons of 80s r&b/funk/soul stuff that I never even heard of to CD.

I agree. Although I was expecting the Lipps Inc. album in their list.... (if anyone missed it, because of the title of their label - Funky Town)
