Agreed about Hats, but I still love their debut A Walk Across The Rooftops...I remember buying this a few years after its release and just being mesmerised...it sounded nothing like anything that was out at the time and still has a feel of mystery and overall timelessness about the LP...perfection.

All of TBN albums resonate with me. Paul Buchanan writes beautifully sad and alienated worlds and inner feelings. It's honest and vulnerable. I bought Walk Across the Rooftops when it first came out on vinyl back in the day. My mates were all against it because it was kinda quiet but it was like a special piece of art to me. It's one of my desert island discs for sure. Even owning it on CD is rare. Anyways, I'm really looking forward to PB upcoming release. The single sounds so spare and again sad.

Hopefully his new CD will prompt some nice remasters of "Walk Across the Rooftops" and "Hats" with some bonus material because there are some nice HTF tracks still out there. Love that band.
