Nice, but in typical Morrissey fashion, this is a retooled/re-imagined version...but will still buy!

I wish he/the label would stop making us wait for a proper reissue of Vauxhall &I, and just release one already. I have all the extra stuff already, its all been available for some time.

"Re-Tooled" is right.

As a graphic designer, I have HATED all his new font and cover photo choices for his reissues. Why take a beautifully simple cover like Viva Hate or Bona Drag, with a nice simple straight-forward typography, and muck it up with some tattoo-like Old English font?

Nevermind the fact that he has expurgated a lot of his history with track selections.

Isn't he using alot of archival photography by Linder Sterling (ex-Ludus) these days?

I'm baffled by the revisionism on his reissues as well?

It seems he's doing these in some sort of order - only Your Arsenal and Vauxhall & I left of the studio releases - and no word if the comps will be reissued (My Early Burglary Years, World Of Morrissey, Beethoven Was Deaf-Live)

Personally, I'd just issue a box set with all the rarities, unreleased stuff plus the three comps above and be done with it once he's reissued the last two studio LPs.

"viva hate" was a shambles and this looks no better - don't know for sure what additional material exists [demo's,unreleased tracks, etc] for "kill uncle",but there certainly were demo's,etc for the "viva hate" album, but none of them appeared for that recent album reissue!

Didn't he do something similar to this with those (EMI?) 2 singles "box set" sort of releases (blue/gold cigarette like boxes) from the late 90's, then the 3 disc (EMI AGAIN?) singles boxset(from like 3 years ago)?

They were both basically most of the songs/singles from his studio work and some stuff from M.E.B.Y (which by the way is funny to me that now all of a sudden it's ok that EMI is releasing this stuff with his approval involvement, yet when MEBY was released, he trashed EMI for it, and asked fans not to buy it? but now wants the fans to buy this?
