New Blondie album on the way

"Ghosts Of Download", the iconic band's 10th studio album is to be released by the end of the year.
The album is preceded by the single "A Rose By Any Name" featuring The Gossip's Beth Ditto out now.
The band's last studio effort, "Panic Of Girls", came out in 2011.

Is that the working title of the album ? I hope they change it. I liked Panic Of Girls but the new single with Beth Ditto just doesn't have the Blondie vibe.

Nope. Sadly. It is the official title of the album which I don't like either.
Yep, you're right about the new single doesn't having the classic Blondie vibe. But it will grow over me with time eventually. They have been changing courses ever since the beginning of their career.

Oh well. We'll have to wait and see what the new songs r like. After they lost Jimmy Destri I think they suffered a slight decline . Even though the bulk of classic Harry/Stein hits were the bands core ,having Destri in there was like the icing on a cake .

Agreed. I don't give them any credit without Destri plus i don't believe personally that they treated him very well
