Limahl "Don't Suppose" due this January

[discoginfo]

I just finished a discography for Limahl 1983-1985, I hope I got it right
http://www.discog.info/limahl.html

As you can see, several tracks are missing from the CD, and even from the 15-track digital album. Perhaps licensing problems, or problems finding the tapes....? /JW

Hi,

My two cents on "Never Ending Story":
- Ivory Tower should be credited to Giorgio Moroder as Limahl has no involvemnt in
- I would have added the digital only EP from 2009 (avalaible on Itunes or Amazon)

Otherwise, great job as usual [:)]

Thanks for reminder, I copied it from my Moroder discography so forgot to mention it. Fixed now. I made it 1983-85 only, for now, to get things started. I can not include the 2009 EP without at least first adding the 1986 album and two singles. Best/JW

There's another mix of Neverending Story. I've got it on the french
Maxi Singles 80 4 CD box set. It's credited as US Club mix, remixed by Rusty Garner and the time shows as 6.05. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I have noticed that whenever there's a hit somewhere outside of USA, the US record company almost ALWAYS remixes it, at least for the dance floor. It's a US habit since The Beatles. I guess European dance mixes don't sell in USA. But US remixes are popular overseas.

Does anyone it's the CD is highly compressed? Or better does anyone know what's the dynamic range on this CD?

That's pretty complete if you ask me.

[rk2585]

Is this release going to be brickwalled? Since many of Cherry Red's releases have been butchered. It would be nice to know before buying.

[yipyipcoyote]

Finally received the 2CD deluxe reissue thinking every official mix should be included but alas… this UK 12" A-side is nowhere to be found. Should have done my own rip long time ago

[discoginfo]

Yes, luckily I have that version digitally.

[rk2585]

Great another brickwalled disaster.

Something told me not to sell of my LP collection back in the day.
