The first album was it for me. I lost interest after that. I would not mind getting my favorite Pretenders song, "Cuban Slide" on CD, but I don't think I'll be tempted to upgrade for $50, but it beats $80. I'd consider it at $25. At least there's CDs! And without mandatory LPs! So mostly, yay. It seemed at the time like The Pretenders were going to be a major band for me, like Psychedelic Furs, but it quickly didn't work out that way. Drugs took their toll. The 2nd album was not engaging to me and then they lost half the band and the balance was lost. A few good singles here and there, but even when I got the "Singles" CD I was amazed at how weak it was. I had expected more.
