Here's an album I missed out on during my youth... Was it because I was disappointed that Jimmy Sumerville wasn't on it, poor distribution, even more important album choices, or fear of being disappointed after the fabulous 'The Age of Concent' from 1984?...? Whatever the reason, 'Hit That Perfect Beat' didn't really grab my attention back then... Yet, today I find it quite amusing with its crazy synth. So I won't miss the 40th anniversary reissue. And you?...
