"If" there's a #8? You GOTTA try to find/add a Peter Murphy-Cuts You Up extended, or an Icehouse-We Can Get Together extended.....[:D]

Great Tracklisting Alex! You should make a YouTube ad to promote it and also promote the rest of the cds in the series.

Pretty sure there are no such things. The "Cuts You Up" album version was the "Long" version as opposed to the shorter single mix that got most radio play.

As far as I remember, "We Can Get Together" album version was the same as the 7". There was no 12". (There was a 10", but that just included an extra B-side.) It's my favorite Icehouse song but, unless there's a bootleg mix, there isn't any extended version.

After such a great tracklisting for 7 we might as well start early for volume 8 , I was trawling through you tube and didnt realise there was a 12" version of this island earth take me to the fire
I only think they bought a couple of tracks out ( See that Glow was their most well known)

have a listen and see what you think

A great tracklisting for 7 - we might as well start early for volume 8.

That is the great thing about the series - there is so much material out there that deserves to be out on cd.

I hope that RA 7 will be a success. It deserves to be.

It's gonna be definitely on my list. I have volumes: 3,4 & 6. Good to see Belouis Some on there.

<br>You have my eternal gratitude Alex!!! This was so worth waiting for!! I'm so excited that you got the rights to the Belouis Some track "Animal Magic"!!! It's an awesome line-up and I can't wait to pre-order this on the Hi-Bias website. I sincerely hope and pray that this isn't the last volume to be released. Let's hope that the forum members each purchase this volume legally so there will be a chance for future volumes. The "Retro Active" series is the only compilation that truly works hard to obtain and remaster lost and rare 12-inch mixes. Alex, you and the company are truly rescuing a lot of what makes up the 1980's dance music history and legacy when it comes to the New Wave/D.O.R. (Dance Oriented Rock) genres. The alternative music 12-inch has always been my favorite staple of dance music. You are like the Ben Liebrand of New Wave "Grand 12-Inches." I am truly humbled by all your hard work. Many, many, many thanks!!!!

Most sincerely,

Jeffrey
