So when we do feedback on their website and provide our e-mail, and it starts giving you a "transmitting code" message and then a code of some sort, do we have to write that down to later access ability to buy this release at some point? Or is that code transmitted stuff just part of the website's action?

Hi, CounterCircular:

That's a really good question. I've not used the new form, so I wasn't aware of any code it gives you upon clicking the "Send Feedback" button. I think it may just be part of the website's action, as you say, but I admit I don't know for certain. I will find out and post the answer here. Thanks for asking! :)

Hi, everyone:

Sorry for the delay between posts, but good news -- I just received what is apparently to be the final update from Paul Fishman before the website is expected to be launched, and it was just posted on the official Facebook and MySpace pages earlier today.

He also gave me an answer for CounterCircular about the code from the feedback form:

"This was changed a few months ago; it was meant to be a clue but I am not sure if I even get it now. You won't need it, so don't worry about writing it down."

As before, you can read the full update at...

Facebook:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Re-Flex/177015376426

MySpace:
www.myspace.com/reflexreaction

If there's any further word, I'll be sure to post here, again. But I expect the next message from the guys to be that the project has been completed and the CDs are ready for release. Don't forget, if you haven't already done so, to register via the official feedback form to be given priority access to the CDs and the website [ www.re-flex.info/feedback.html ].

Almost there! :)

Any update on the progress? It's been three months since the last posting. You would think they'd at least have all official track listings finalized. We've only been waiting on this since March 2008. How much longer???

@pinkyblue82,

Yes, it has been 3 months since Paul's last update, and from what he indicated in that update, it was to be the final time he would write before the release of the CDs. I can tell you he has kept to his word, because he has been completely out of touch with me since that time as well, but I understand that the announcement is due to happen any time -- although I have no idea exactly when that might be! The last order of business was and is the completion of the website and the (re)launch with the new content. Once that happens, the CDs will be available for purchase, but those who have registered will be given priority access.

And, actually, the track listings for the box set were finalised late last year, and Paul sent an update with all the album information towards the end of November. It's been posted in the blogs on both MySpace and Facebook, but in case you missed it initially, you can also now read it at the following link, as I've begun to mirror all the blog posts on the Re-Flex Re-Action micro site for easy access: http://www.reflexreaction.com/news/2009 ... -11-27.php

Baxter and I have been playing 'phone tag' for about the past 2-3 weeks, but I'm going to try, again, to catch up with him sometime this week and I will ask if he has any news of the progress in London to pass along, and if so, I will definitely share it here. (And he knows I *will* be asking!) [:)]

I wish I could tell you exactly how much longer, but I'm waiting for the official word along with the rest of you. This project has been more than 2 years in the making, formally speaking, and after one setback or another during those 2 years, it really is at last down to the final stages. In fact, I was checking the space for the official website just recently, and I noticed the crawl for the Status said 'imminent', so I'm taking that to be a good sign.

In the meantime, I monitor this thread daily for activity, so if anyone has any further questions I will try to address them as best as I can.

Keep in Touch!

Thanks so much for the update, Jennifer. I apologize for the impatience but it's been such a long process. I've been following this story since day one but somehow missed the link for the track listings so thanks for re-posting. After seeing it I have to say that I will definitely purchase the box set. So much cool stuff!

Hi, again, pinkyblue82:

No need to apologise! The wait HAS been long, for all of us, the guys included. But I know the end results will be worth it.

Coincidentally, I heard from JHP Productions today, quite out of the blue. I received an e-mail from JHP's General Manager Fiorella Busoni, whom Paul had asked to contact me and pass along the word that he is taking a short break, and that everything is almost ready -- the CDs, merchandise and website. And, that's essentially a direct quote. She said that when he returns he will contact me with details about the launch of the 'Connect' site (which, as I mentioned previously, will allow those who have registered to have the first go at all the goodies -- including and especially the CDs). I've learned to be patient as this project has stretched well into its second year, and I'm not going to hazard a guess at how much longer it will actually be, but I'd say that's fairly big news. [:D]

So... as soon as I get the official announcement of what's being called the 'Big Bang' from Paul, I will post it here and in all the usual places. Again, if you haven't registered to receive your e-mail postcard to allow you priority access, I would do it now, so you don't miss out when the time comes!

Keep in Touch!

Thanks, pinkyblue82 and mojowkn, for posting the above info! As you can imagine, there's been a lot going on today with the launch of the Connect site, and I've been intending to get over here and post the announcement for anyone who had not received an e-mail with the link.

As anyone who's already visited the site will tell you, it's extremely content-rich. Paul told me earlier that there will be updates to the content in the near future, and there are a few functionality wrinkles being ironed out currently. But please take some time when you're able to browse and enjoy -- it's quite an experience!

Also, when you receive the box set, I highly recommend reading the 'Stage of History' which is broken up into chapters, one per CD album. It is a narrative written by Paul about the band's beginnings, evolution, and 'hiatus', as I like to think of it, as even Paul says they never really broke up, they each just went on to other things.

I look forward to reading everyone's feedback about the box set here at some point; I know am very much enjoying my copy! On behalf of the guys, thanks for everyone's support and patience -- it's been a long wait, but it's finally over! [:D]

'Keep in Touch'!
