The last two Spandau Ballet albums reissues coming

I have the 'Raw [Amnesia Mix]' as it's on a CD compilation called Acid Splash from 1988, so for the sake continuity volume/mastering-wise, I'd just like to have the original digital files as they were, rather than burningtheground's loud rips.

Try discogs.com I saw Raw (cd) single on there for sale. Maybe Blank & Jones should tackle Spandau next and put all these mixes on there.

They seem to prefer already on CD mixes and they often use the original CD pressing as a mastering source!

I got a response!

Hi Anthony

Many thanks for your enquiry to Cherry Red. I must apologise for the slow response but I've been away on holiday.

I can confirm that there were plans for these reissues but they've yet to be scheduled for release. The tracklisting and bonus material was agreed with the band and Steve Dagger so hopefully it will be something that can be released in the future. Sorry I can't put a date on it but we really do hope to make these two long over-due reissues available.

With best wishes

Tim @ Cherry Red

Cherry Red would rather reissue garbage albums by the likes of one hit wonder Nick Kamen instead of anything half decent.

The demand for his album is greater than Spandau's I fear... not least of all for Madonna's songwriting and backing vocals. It will sell well, original CD pressings have sold for £50+ over the years.
