Did anyone in the USA get the box set, I want to know what they charged for Duties & Taxes.

I just received mine today via FedEx (it only took a couple of days to get here from the UK). The box is very nice. I think the quality of the entire project reflects the band's input and control over the project. had a normal record company re-released this material, it would've been a 2-CD set in cheap packaging. They did a good job with this one.

I still need to pop it in and listen to the fidelity, but so far so good!

That's the cost of the CD plus shipping. Normally anything over $5 or 10 they charge a duty and extra tax that you pay the post office or fed ex.

got mine today, and what I find interesting is that all the tracks on the disc of 12" mixes and b-sides are DIFFERENT than what I have on vinyl!!! None of the remixes are the same mixes or lengths, and all the b-sides are different lengths than on the vinyl 12" singles (some are longer, some are shorter).

the mastering is absolutely delicious. Outstanding. Of course, with all the archived unreleased stuff they dug up, there's a track here and there that isn't as crystal clear, sometimes with some tape hiss, but overall, it's stunning.

I'm only really interested in getting The Politics Of Dancing but i feel £19.50 is taking the piss. I know you get that Music RE-Action CD with it but it's still to steep. Who do they think they are U2 [?]

As am I.....I dont want to just "jump" right into the Reflex box set, when Im unfamiliar w/alot of their other stuff? I love POD, and I imagine the full length cd, is great too. Will just that cd, be 1 or 2 discs?

Hi, DJ Wave...

I saw your question about this on Facebook, also, and I've been looking into an answer for you. I'm sorry for the delay addressing it. I don't have an 'official' answer, as yet, which is why none has been posted on the official FB Page. But I'll give you my own 'unofficial' answer, here, if it's any help to you. :) My copy of the box set was a gift, and as such I did not pay for shipping (which was via FedEx). But I'm fairly comfortable saying that the shipping costs as stated on the website and which people have cited here are exactly what you'll pay, and nothing more. Also, I've purchased items online -- including CDs and records -- from the UK many times and have never had to pay import taxes or duties or anything of that sort. Because it's via the Internet, I think perhaps it may be a different case than if you were to purchase it in the UK in person and transport it into the US yourself?

Please post here again and let me know if that answers your question, and if not, I'll continue to try to get more information for you, and anyone else wondering about the same thing.

Jennifer :)

PinkyBlue82, have you received your box set, yet? If not, let me know and I'll put you in touch...

Anyone else, as well, if you've not received your order by now, let me know. The band want to ensure everyone is being taken care of.

Yes, still not here. It will be a week tomorrow since I got my dispatch notice. I normally wouldn't be concerned at this point with something coming from overseas. But when I heard about people in the States getting theirs in 2 days, I had to wonder. Thanks for any help you can provide, Jeniffer.

OK, I'm glad you responded. I was advised that have been reports of delayed FedEx deliveries for a few people, and they are working to resolve it ASAP. So, hang tight; I will be sending you a private message shortly to exchange some information and we'll get this sorted for you.... :)
