Cee Farrow!

I’d really like to see a couple albums on CD, most notably Cee Farrow’s Red and Blue album and The Anvil by Visage. I have e-mailed Cherry Red Records and received a response from one of their representatives stating that they have put in an application to release (or re-release I should say) The Anvil by Visage. However, he did say that it could take up to a year for everything to go through. Good News! At least it’s being applied for! The sad thing is, in response to my request for Cee Farrrow he said, “Really not sure how Cee Farrow would do.” So, this is an attempt to raise some interest in Cee Farrow and hopefully if we can get enough people interested I can direct him to the thread and he can see that Cee Farrow WOULD be a good choice for a release on CD.

So, if you are at all interested in Cee Farrow and would buy “Red and Blue” if it was released, please post here with an enthusiastic post and let us know your thoughts and opinions. Thanks!

Yes, on the strength of Should I Love You alone, I would definitely purchase Red and Blue. I would hope the 12" version would be included as a bonus. I appreciate you bringing it to the label's attention. Let's hope it works!

The more obscure acts that are released on CD the happier I am, it's always great when a personal favorite released on CD for the first time. 'Red And Blue' is an amazing LP and it sure would be great to own on disc, I know for a fact both the 12" single and LP sell very well online and "Should I Love You" is defntly one of those new wave / dance classics many old clubbers love.

My opinion:

"Should I Love You" is utter crap. I've hated that song since day one and I've tried to listen to it again but rarely can make it through the whole song. It's right up there with "Too Shy" and "Politics Of Dancing" as my most hated '80s songs. But then again, you weren't fishing for my opinion.....

The rest of the album was pretty good, though! Not earthshattering, but definitely worth picking up!
