Ahhh yes!!! Beautiful!
'Wide Open Road' is etched in my psyche...memories of driving across the Nullabor Plain (Nullabor= 'no trees')...summer in Australia, and the road seemingly went on forever. It is always more poignant when the lyrics evoke memories and personal experiences! Of course, the 'Wide Open Road' is a metaphor!
"Imagine Joy Division cruising down a highway in a heat-haze, chrome gleaming - not easy, but easily that good. You really do need a copy of 'Born Sandy Devotional' like you need oxygen" - Time Out.
TRUE!
