Same guy, different tunes. Jim Skafish just released an album of jazz christmas instrumentals. Who knew he could lead a piano trio? It's an awesome set of music that brings to mind Vince Gauraldi & Charlie Brown. Nothing wierd, just surprising. Check it out @ Amazon.com

I had the plesure, about two years ago, of helping him digitize all of his archives, 40 years worth of tapes.
There's a whole IRS/Urgh!-era LP that never got released, and there's some freakin' GREAT stuff there - a few tunes that are better than anything he DID release.
Don't bug him about it, he wants to put it out, and will do so if he can.
