Nina Hagen FEARLESS!!!!!!!

FINALLY, Nina Hagen's Fearless is being issued on disc here in the US!!! Do any of you have any idea what this means for me?!?! Fearless is my all-time favorite record. I played my German & English LPs to death, my cassette until you see through the tape, them made additional copies of my copy of the Brazilan CD issue that came out in the 90s. But now I can finally file an official US release of this CD in my library. Nina is the definition of an artist: inspirational, innovative, ultimately authentic, provocative, 100% honest--she communicates her thoughts perfectly. We may not always get what she trying to say, but there's never been any question that what she is saying is exactly what she meant to convey. Her work is the product of a truly original, unaffected mind. I LOVE NINA!!! Oh, by the way, Feb. 13 is the release day. I stumbled over this info, then out of my chair!

Cool, thanks for the info. I always loved "New York New York" off that album. Do you know which label is doing the reissue?

Koch Records. http://www.kochentertainment.com/release_dates.html, which lists the release date as 2/27, as opposed to Amazon's 2/13.

I just went to the Kich site and they list the release date as 2/13. The sooner the better for me. I have listened to this album hundreds & hundreds & hundreds of times and it always sounds fresh to me. I'm even excited to listen to it again on this re-issue. If can be allowed to offer one minor critisism, Koch should have included some of the German versions as bonus tracks and the track "Lorelei" which only appeared on the German issue of Fearless. In Ekstasy was issued on CD in both its German & English versions and both albums have considerable difference. But I'm happy nonetheless.
