Hey Apollo...We've spoken about Rachel before and you were even generous enough to send me some tracks from her. I have the Repertoire re-issue of Fool Around from a few years ago. I got the Japanese re-issue of Protect The Innocent last year and thought the sound was incredible. It's an awesome record to begin with. I just wish Stiff would get on the ball and release a decent Sweet anthology. I mean, there MUST be Sweet stuff in the can that's never been released.

They are also putting out Dirty Looks' two albums in a 2CD set, Any Trouble's first (although it was out on Compass before), Wreckless Eric and more...

I don't know if there is any unreleased Rachel tracks.. Tony from Stiff has never commented on that.. I did suggest they do a Stiff single box set because there is a Rachel Bside not on cd.. Wildwood Saloon Live and the remix (sorta) of Spellbound. He said it was a good idea and would pass it on. He alluded to something special about this release but hasnt commented, Stiff may have gotten Rachel to write the liner notes, they tried to contact her and got no reply for doing that on the last compilation.

Speaking of Stiff artists, what about a collection of early Lene Lovich demos and songs

The 12" disco version of "Lucky Number" needs to be officially released on CD

I sure hope it has the original UK mix of "Cuckoo Clock." I just can't find it anywhere. Someone here at NWO sent me an mp3 of the Japanese version last year but it was not the same mix as the original UK version.

I have the original UK mix on a reel-to-reel tape (!) but have no way of copying it.

The main difference is that the harmonies are mixed on the same level as Rachel's lead vocals. It is very obvious if you listen to it.
