I don't get it: the one song they are known for more than any other locally is the extended mix of Don't Walk Past, and it's not on any of these? Universal even released the ext. version on an abysmal Don't Walk Past re-mix CD a few years ago. How does it not make it on to these CDs, where it rightfully belongs?

Is it still commercially available? maybe that's why. I bought it on ebay a few years back thanks to ?Alex Hush.

I don't know...but it shouldn't matter, the re-mix CD was released by Universal as well.

I believe that the version you are speaking about is on the RetroActive 4 comp as well.

That sounds like the one Schwenko...I keep forgetting to check the myriad of comps out there.

Thanks to this thread I've discovered this band, heard a couple of things on youtube and ordered the 3 cds from amazon.ca (why sooo cheap??)
It's easy to forget how sites like this plus youtube and myspace have opened up ways of finding music that maybe 20-30 years old but due to location or lack of airplay you never heard at the time - i've just received a 12" of bone symphony's jungle. it was sealed and i've just loved hearing every second but 24 years late. the drawback of all these cds and records arriving in the post continually is that i've no savings at all (meagre retirement beckons!) but it's worth it.

I remember working at opening the big Sam the Record Man that used to be in Hamilton and going through the deleted lp's when Jason Sniderman walked by me. I was placing some aside for myself....all early 80's 12" remixes, and he asked me if I had heard of his old band Blue Peter. I looked at him and said, "yeah, they weren't too bad, I used to like them". He looked dejected, it was a great time since being the owner Sam's son, he was always so full of himself.
