John Foxx

John Foxx

The new John Foxx CD is out, I will have mine any day now. I am excited to hear it. The reviews say he has gone back to a more minimalist/cold synth sound reminiscent of his early 80s Metamatic days. Anyone heard any tracks yet?? Can't wait to hear it.

Check CD Universe. That is where I ordered it, $13.29. BUT, even though it says release of 2004, it must be a re-issue, because I checked allmusicguide.com and it was apparently released originally in 2002, The Pleasure of Electicity. They have sound clip

I think I DL'd a few tracks from this last year. I remember liking it quite a bit, and thinking it really was a return to form.

Thanks for the info, I'm ordering one right now.

Listened to this CD today, it is very good. There are a couple tracks I am not crazy about, but certainly several that sound like they could have been released in 1981. Definitely recommend.
