I've just been informed that The Anvil by Visage is being reissued next month. It is on Cherry Red, though I had no part of the project. I won't be buying it, but I'll be curious to read any responses.

I had no idea this was "rare"/OOP. I thought everyone had it. The OOP seems to be going for absurd prices. Too late to sell now, I guess.

I got both "The Anvil" & the s/t "Visage" released on One Way Records at Circuit City for like $9.00 each back in the late 90's. I thought they were widely released....
Still looking for my girl with auburn hair and tawny eyes...

Funny story on Visage: When Tower Records was going OOB, I was able to pick up"Fade To Grey" Import(Made In Holland) on cd....for...are you ready for this:
$2.65
No BS. I also picked up The March Violets "The Botanic Verses" cd for $2.43....it was a good day.

I recently listened to this album for the first time in probably twenty years and liked most of what I heard. Now I am wanting a Japanese vinyl pressing, in case anyone has a lead. Could not care less about a cd.

I had the original late80's/early 90's version on cd. I forget what label it was on, but it was $22. Luckily my girlfriend at the time didn't think I could live without it so she gave it to me as a birthday present.

It has - it's on one of the Old Gold "A Kick Up The Eighties" CDs, I forget which volume off the top of my head.

there are a couple of great B-sides from that era Visage that are not included on that OUTRAGEOUSLY priced CD: "Motivation" and "I'm Still Searching"....also, I suppose they could add the 12" mixes of the singles....even the bloated, grating "Night Train"...
