How come they didn't re-release this like the others in a 2 disc format? that's pretty strange, as this is one of their best discs. Anyone know if there are plans to re-release this in 2 disc format?

Also, any update on when "Disinigration" will be re-released, also in 2 disc format?

And what about Wish as well. In saying that if the persist in using stupid demoes there is no point. They have a ton of remixes they could have put on those discs which considering they released a box set and weren't on that either will probably never see the light of day on cd.

Simple. Boys Don't Cry wasn't a de novo album release. It was parts of Three Imaginary Boys plus the singles and odds, and the only single that doesn't appear on the 2-disc of Three Imaginary Boys is 'Killing An Arab' - no big loss. It'd be weird if they re-issues something that was kinda comp'd together to begin with.

Yuo, same eason why Japanese Whispers wasn't rereleased (would have been nice to listen to demos from that era though...).
No updates on Disintegrtion so far, but can't see it happening in 2008 - the new album should be out in September with 4 advance singles, so there shouldn't be room for remasters this year. As it is 20 years of Disintegration next year, good chance 2009 sees the rerelease, finally!

I've read (perhaps on the forum on the official Cure website) that there's going to be a deluxe 'Mixed Up' with all the original remixes. As with a lot of these Cure re-issue rumours, however, it's probably best to take it with a grain of salt until we see the press release....
