Frazier Chorus

Frazier Chorus

Postby moni » Thu Sep 25, 2008 12:57 am

At long last, the debut Frazier Chorus album, 'Sue', returns. Frazier Chorus hailed from Brighton and consisted of Tim Freeman, Michelle Allardyce, Kate Holmes and Chris Taplin (Holmes is now one half of electro/pop outfit Client along with ex-Dubstar singer Sarah Blackwood).

Their finest hour, 'Sue' is now expanded with all of the accompanying b-sides from the singles 'Sloppy Heart', 'Dream Kitchen' and 'Typical!' The release also includes their unique take on the Sex Pistols anthem 'Anarchy In The UK', along with 'Spoonhead', which is available for the first time on CD, plus extended mixes of 'Dream Kitchen', 'Typical!' and 'Forty Winks'. The accompanying booklet includes lyrics to all of the songs, along with new liner notes from singer/songwriter Tim Freeman. Freeman is the brother of acclaimed comedy actor Martin Freeman, whose character Tim in The Office was based on his sibling. a fact of which he is actually quite proud!

Dream Kitchen / Storm / Forty Winks / Ha Ha Happiness / Sloppy Heart / Living Room / Sugar High / Forgetful / Typical / Ski Head / Little Chef / Anarchy In The Uk / String / Born With A Headache / Down / Spoon Head / Bonus Tracks / Dream Kitchen - Extended Mix / Typical - Extended Mix / Forty Winks - Extended Mix

Thanks for the heads up Moni!

I have "Sue" on CD but a number of their singles/remixes on vinyl so this is a must buy for me. Great stuff.

Speaking of b-sides, they have an amazing all French sung b-side called "Blistered" that can be found on the "Nothing" single.
