"In dedication to Tony Wilson, Rhino UK will be releasing 'Factory Records: Communications 1978-92'. The project celebrates 30 years of arguably the most important label in UK pop history, collating rare and obscure tracks from a diverse range of acts. The box set is a limited edition; only 10,000 copies will be made globally. Sleeve notes written by Paul Morley."

I haven't looked at this closely, but it looks like a lot of repeats from the Palatine box and a lot of stuff that has already been released ad nauseum. I wish they would release a Life compilation or compliations of other bands that haven't yet been comped.

Ill probably pick it up, due to the fact that some of those bands, I've never heard of. Looks like a pretty good compilation IMO, other than the fact that I have all of the NO/JD stuff.

"Keepin the '80s alive!"

Apparently out as of yesterday...and early purchasers will get some FAC136 sticky tape!!! [:o)]
