According to former bassist Steve Severin, the next batch of Banshees remasters are a go for late Feb. He said the next 4 so I would assume those would be: A Kiss in the Dreamhouse, Nocturne, Hyaena and Tinderbox. He also mentioned something about a BBC sessions box set. No tracklisting on any of them yet.

Great news indeed. I've been wondering when they were going to remaster the next batch? Thanks for the info.

I hope these aren't as messed up as the first batch. We all know that the Scream (non-deluxe edition) was abominal and JuJu (one of their finest IMO) wasn't all that great either..
Here's hoping.
Have the band ever menioned anything with regards to the botched remastereing job?

The only previous botched master Severin would ever acknowledge was SCREAM single CD. It was corrected for later pressings. All he did with my other concerns was snap at me and call me names, which I've learned to take affectionately.
The good news is the previous hack of a remastering tech, Gary Moore, has retired from the profession claiming to have been diagnosed with Tinitus. At least that would explain some of the shortcomings on the previous batch. I'm anxious to hear what the new batch will sound like with someone else in charge.
An unreleased track called "Mexican Hat" was slated to be on HYAENA, though has been removed from the track listing. Most likely Siouxsie's veto power..., again................

What a super-sweet human being you are, Rubellan, taking succour from someone's career-ending illness. Nice.

I'll comment where and when I like. Sorry if that upsets.
No reason to make the case against you as a septic tank of petty-minded resentment against the world when you do it so ably yourself.
And before you get argumentative again, please, for your own sake, try to remember how piss-poor you are at it.
As you were.

Being the pathetic control freak that you are, I'm sure you will ensure, as you do with any thread you spew forth on, you have the last word. I hope that it compensates for the important things you are obviously missing in life. So bring on that final comment, or struggle not to prove me correct once again.

Thank you for the invitation to have the last word.
But I'll decline...

<br>Would you crawl back under your rock, loser. No one was talking to you. As far as I'm concerned, someone who fucks up a Siouxsie remaster better retire...

I have the same problem with my ears. It's ruined my career. Fuck the re-issues if that's your attitude. If Severin had not have sold his amps, the Banshess would have reformed - fact. Ever have your ears ring non-stop? I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy. What a fucking friendly board this is!

GEEZ GUYS!! And here I was being nice and posting the tracklisting and it turned into this!!!! But, yes, I am hoping this new batch of remasters sound better than the last one. But be glad we are getting them at all, for a while it sounded like they might not see the light of day.
