The Joke has been and always will be one of the most original and influential bands springing out of the late 70's post-punk scene, a band whose honesty and integrity are second to none.
Need further proof, check out the quality and pure vitriol of their last studio album, Hosannas From the Basement of Hell (2006) to see why the Joke hasen't missed a beat since their first single release in 1979.
