Well, I hope they make all the Giorgio Moroder projects and productions a priority. Way too much of his 70s stuff has never been on CD.

I agree, disco circus would be a good start.

Also all or any of Donna Summers albums.Apart from Bad Girls nothing else of hers has been remastered.

This is *Cherry Red* do you really think they're going to remaster anything. It'll all be vinyl rips.

One of the photos at the top of the shows a "Brooklyn Dreams" album, which was on Casablanca. Donna Summer is married to Bruce Sudano of this group, so maybe there will be some Casablanca reissues. That would be great.

By the way, there was talk years ago before the Deluxe Bad Girls came out promising Donna Summer remasters, but that never happened. Maybe the judged the sales of Bad Girls and changed their mind. :(

Is this compression issue really just something we can accuse Cherry Red of? Pretty much every remaster I've bought in the last few years seems to lack dynamic range and simply rely heavily on being REALLY loud. Even the Duran Duran Rio reissue and the U2 reissues sounded muddy to me.

It's not compression, it's *not using master tapes* that fucks me off with Cherry Red.

That and their shitty customer service.

Amen to that. Cherry Red is the UK equivalent of America's shittiest reissue label -- Collectables. Landfill stuffing.

And that shitty Cherry Red customer service goes by the name of Mag Greenhorn. I purchased a bundle of ten discs from their website awhile back, but only seven of them arrived, and three were the wrong titles. I sent her several emails and got no response. I called their offices and some dismissive douche told me she'd call me back, which she never did. It was only after I disputed the charge on my credit card that she responded, and then agreed to send the missing discs, which turned out to be the wrong ones again.

Absolute moron.

They are also pig ignorant about answering emails.I imagine their office being a portacabin on the side of the motorway.
