Boy, this really has you worried. Tried to find you a link in Webster's unabridged new wave dictionary but just had no luck. Anyone? Please, help him through this.

You really are on a downer right now has your dog just died or something[?]. It's simple if you don't like something don't read the thread. I do agree with you about most of these acts not being necessarily new wave that you have been banging on about but why lose sleep over it.[:)]

you could argue that most artist listed in these forums are not new wave...i'm into 80's music i don't care how people want to label it

check the songlist, a-ha is there. New Wave has diff definitions depending on the country. In the US it came to be associated with 80s synthpop. If you dont like the stuff posted here then leave and go somewhere else. what an idiot.

nik kershaw, howard jones and alphaville aren't new wave either but most people here would want to hear about any reissues.

I like 80's music buy doesn't mind I post every 80's here, but sorry the thread is NU Wave............I seriously don't rememeber Aha being Nu Wave, what the fuck do i know.....

You need to take a chill pill seriously and no i won't go fuck myself as you politely put it. I think there are more important things in life than arguing the toss about Rick Astley or A-Ha don't you.

Not only will the HH&L collector's edition be released, but ALSO a collector's edition of Scoundrel Days, a new anthology, an updated edition of The Swing of Things book, and much more. So says this newsblurb at http://www.a-ha-live.com, translated from a Norwegian article.

Update 2: According to this article from NTB, we can expect a lot of interesting releases and events this year, including:

- new deluxe editions of both Hunting High And Low and Scoundrel Days
- a new anthology
- updated edition of Jan Omdahl's book "The Swing Of Things"
- the national library in Oslo will hold an a-ha exhibition
- a documentary
- a live DVD
- photo book
- plus a few more things

I stole that info from an A-ha forum and quite frankly i don't give a shit whether they were new wave or not Scoundrel Days was a brilliant album.

just when I've pretty much finished gathering every 12" version from these two albums on expensive compilations and CD singles from around the world, the reissues are coming and will probably have all these mixes as bonus tracks...
