nearly 30 years since this amazing album was first released, does anyone know if there are any plans to reissue this album 'deluxe edition' style...2cd's...dvd...bonus demos...bonus remixex...the list could go on.
i would love to see this album surface again...i know there was the 2006 reissue but so much more could have been added. also aftrer the latest tour they could release a great new live album...
any thoughts on this...who could i pitch the idea to?

We are still waiting for Pleasure One and Teddy Bear to be remastered so i think it's highly unlikely that this will ever happen.

note that the digital download versions of the first three albums contain way more tracks than the CD issues.

would be nice to have P&P remaster, but sadly not for the next two years at least

It's only Penthouse + Pavement and How Men Are that have bonuses looking on amazon. You know i never even realised that as i don't buy mp3s and why the hell they couldn't have put these on the CD's at the time is bizarre because there was plenty of space on the discs.I hate when bands do that release extra songs on itunes and crap like that. The extra tracks on How Men Are are strange though claiming to be full length album versions when they were never that length in the first place even on vinyl.

Perfect tracklist could look like this IMO:
CD1:
Penthouse & Pavement (9 track album)
+
7" A & B sides:
I'm Your Money (7" version)
Penthouse & Pavement (7" version)
Play To Win (7" version)
The Decline Of The West (7" b side)
Are Everything (7" b side)
Penthouse & Pavement (Instrumental) (7" b side)
Play (7" b side)
Honeymoon In New York (7" b side)
CD 2:
Original Remixes + Versions > please no crappy 90s remixes:
(We Don't Need This) Fascist Groove Thang (12" version)
I'm Your Money (12" version)
Penthouse & Pavement (12" version)
Play To Win (12" version)
Height Of The Fighting (He-La-Hu) (12" version)
Let's All Make A Bomb (New Version)
Song With No Name (New Version)
Groove Thang
Are Everything (12" b side)
Penthouse & Pavement (Instrumental) (12" b side)
Play (12" b side)
Geisha Boys And Temple Girls (unreleased 12" version) > just a dream because I think that this song is so damn good that it deserves a 12" extended mix!

Does anyone know of the 7" version of I'm Your Money being released on ANY cd? Haven't come across one yet. And profil, that is a perfect track listing. Forgot about wanting the 7" version of Are Everything on cd as well.

Hi,
Both 7" versions are available as bonus tracks on iTunes (where I'm located).

The 7" version of I'm Your Money is included on their cd Greatest Hits from 2006 (that release with the dvd) if I remember correctly.
I have a bootleg which includes also an instrumental version of Soul Warfare but I'm not sure about the source. If it's an official version then it should be also included on this dream edition - at least in an ideal world [:)]

decline of the west and honeymoon are both BEF tracks
Are Everything iss the same length on 7 & 12"
height of the fighting is single length only (same on 7 & 12)
groove thang - instrumental is BEF as well
penthouse instrumental is the same as 7 and 12
missed out He la Lu - instrumental
facist groove thang - single

decline of the west and honeymoon are both BEF tracks
> even if they are BEF tracks they need to be included as they are b side tracks of Heaven 17 singles at least IMO. And it was never easy to draw a line between BEF and Heaven 17. Both tracks are also included on the 2006 Remaster version of P & P so why not include on a perfect edition? Same with Groove Thang from BEF.
Are Everything is the same length on 7 & 12"
> have to check this, maybe you're right
height of the fighting is single length only (same on 7 & 12)
> anyway 7" or 12" version of this needs to be included as it's different to the album version
penthouse instrumental is the same as 7 and 12
> I'm pretty sure that the 7" instrumental version is much shorter than the 12" b side instrumental version; will check
He La Hu
> you're right; I forgot to list that one
facist groove thang - single
> any difference to the album version?

Would you be willing to share that instrumental version of Soul Warfare with us?
What else is on that bootleg?...
Thanks in advance!

There's also the promo 7" of FGT that removes the lines 'Fascist God in Motion'
