Any word on that? It's listed on Amazon for a May 3rd release but no track listing. I can't seem to find any other info source.

It's vanished from this list http://www.emimusic.nl/external/microsi ... nkort.html and i have yet to see a catalogue number for it yet. According to here http://www.emimusic.cz/cz/titles.php?fi ... order=desc it's not being released till the 7th June now.

They should spend time remastering Cupid & Psyche with bonus tracks then issue some best of again!!

I agree to a point they should remaster the main album. Problem is there aren't bonus tracks really that could go there apart from the remixes that were on the CD and cassette originally unless he has some demos lying around. I've been meaning to ask this for years and nobody ever makes any reference to it has anybody noticed that Perfect Way is a different versions on the CD to the one on the tape or am i hearing things because it's that long since i had the tape.

There are a few 12" mixes that never made it onto CD. Even if they just re-mastered the original CD tracklist I'd be perfectly happy. One of the best albums ever but the CD just sounds like dogfood.

The only mixes that don't appear on it are the Perfect Way mixes and that turntable mix that's on the 12inch of The Word Girl.

Does anyone have a track list yet or any other info on this "supposed" June 8th release?

I bet EMI will push back the release date to Sept/Oct.

Some muppet has uploaded the single cover as an image for the new best of http://www.amazon.co.uk/Absolute-Best-S ... 368&sr=1-8 and in the marketplace somebody is trying to flog the 7 inch single.Looks like this release has been shelved anyways.

I can assure you this will NOT be released in October as the release has been cancelled.

Yeah. How weird is that ? One would've thought if not a best of then at least a re-issue of Cupid and Psyche ??

It was a pain in the arse being a fan of Scritti having to wait years for each new release in the same way as The Blue Nile who took forever with their albums as well though the wait was always worth it. I just wonder how they survived financially in between those times.That best of would have been great if they had released a DVD of all their videos with it but we will never know now as it has been shelved and i do find it very odd why Cupid hasn't had the deluxe treatment this year considering nearly everybody else is jumping on the bandwagon.
