I labeled this "off topic release" so I hope this doesn't get everyone's pants in a wad but finally Giorgio Moroder remasters! There would be no new wave without Giorgio.
Gold Legion is releasing 3 Giorgio albums
Giorgio & Chris
Munich Machine
Munich Machine - Whiter Shade of Pale
as well as ones produced for Roberta Kelly.

Have a nice day.

yeah, the first Roberta Kelly and Munich Machine CDs were released a few months back, and I'm still waiting for the remaining titles to show up on amazon (they all say they are currently out of stock).

I read on Donna Summer tribute site that the label is taking alot of care to get the booklets done with great quality, which is the reason for the delay.
Bud, how is the sound?

People worry way too much about what's "new wave" and what's not. If backed into a corner I'll argue to the death that Depeche Mode, New Order and The Cure are not new wave bands and therefore have no business on this message board. It's ridiculous.
Are any other Moroder albums coming out? I only have a few of his but I love them. I'd like to see reissues of From Here To Eternity and E=MC2.

I don't know of any others that are coming but From Here to Eternity is available from Hip-O select online only. Remastered in 2004 with Cardboard Record sleeve replica.

I ordered directly from the website over a month ago and have received nothing. The email I send to them bounced straight back too. Is this actually legitimate? I'm really pissed off.

I keep getting e-mails from Gold Legion with updates of when the new stuff is being mailed to people who purchased them already. I hadn't ordered from them, but I signed up for their newsletter. Do you get those e-mails? The one I got last night about the France Joli CDs said that the Munich Machine and Roberta Kelly stuff is mailing out any day now.

This outfit rather sucks. Terrible communication. A few of their CDs are on amazon and it's better to order there.

I havent had any problems. I would rather buy it direct to support them, but Amazon is fine too. Let's not say they suck. They are probably doing this without making alot of profit. I just hope they are successful enough to keep going on with more releases.

I ordered 2 Munich Machine CDs. One showed up after a month or so. They don't give you any way to contact them directly. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Maybe these CDs are unlicensed, which may be why they are so "mysterious".

I don't think they're unlicensed, because all their write-ups of the CDs mention participation and help from people originally part of the album.

They are licensed from Polygram special products or whoever owns Casablanca now. I am at work so i can't look at the cd. Plus these cd are being remastered from the original tapes. They are spending alot of time on the booklets and releases.
Also from email on june 21st they say:
Munich Machine Whiter Shade Of Pale will be in stock next week to ship.

I've never heard the Giorgio & Chris album, does it sound anything like Munich Machine?
