The Electronically Yours website reports that Virgin will be issuing a luxury deluxe version of the debut Heaven 17 album in the autumn.
No news on track listing as yet.

Oops, sorry missed that other thread.
There is a BBC documentary about the making of the album airing soon, maybe that will be included on a DVD.

I honestly can't see what they can put on this on this that would make me want to buy it again. The 2006 remaster was perfect and instead of releasing this again they should get their fingers out and remaster the rest of their back catalogue including Endless which could be a double disc.

They can certainly put two things that I've always wanted on CD: 7" versions of both I'm Your Money and Are Everything.

I'd like to see, apart from the 12s and 7s mentioned above, the "radio friendly" version of Fascist Groove Thang finally on CD

And the 2006 remaster was missing WAY too much to be perfect.

I have a feeling after watching that concert tonight on the BBC this deluxe edition will include that in the form of a live DVD or CD and that there will be no more extra on it. It's being released in the autumn btw.

I quite enjoyed the concert. A bit too much Billie Godfrey on some of the songs though imho...
Synths and drums sounded o.k. (including some genuine Linn drum sounds here and there !!). Glenn Gregory did a good job as well.
PS : Claudia B looked like my granny... [:0]

PS : don't forget to watch the documentary on the making of P & P tonight !!

I have to admit that Billie Godfrey did ruin a lot of the songs apart from Temptation. Yes and Claudia Brucken did look ancient. I wonder why Ian Craig Marsh never took part in this i know they asked him and he refused bit strange that.

Ian Craig Marsh has moved on....
As for Billie Godfrey, I doubt many of the fans at H17s recent gigs would agree that she ruined many of the songs ! Even my wife was bowled over by how good she was at the recent Magna Gig in England.
Really looking forward to the 'new' P&P issue. There will be some surprises...........
IS THAT THE TWELVE INCH MIX ? Out late 2010
