And while it's nice to see Teenage Queen on there no 12" mix of I Want Candy? Has that ever been on CD?

I can not BELIEVE they aren't including the 12" of I Want Candy...especially considering it's only like 20 seconds or so longer than the original version. In fact, I'm surprised it hasn't appeared on any of the dozens of 80s 12" compilations that are released with rehashed tracks ad nauseum...

seriously. how dare we expect a quality product from start to finish when we pay full price for it. if we keep opening our big mouths, it might cause them to make the ridiculous move of actually selling quality products to consumers.

as always, a sack of shit statement.
because apparently an "okay" job is the best we can expect from others now, right? hopefully the airline mechanics don't do an "okay" job on your next flight's landing gear. or your company doesn't do an "okay" job of providing benefits and paychecks to you. or that restaurant doesn't do an "okay" job of fully cooking that chicken you ordered.
and we are to believe that a loudmouth misanthrope like you wouldn't bitch and moan about a fucked up cd IF IT WAS SOMEONE YOU ACTUALLY CARED ABOUT? you are ridiculous.

On re-reading the review, only 2 seconds were clipped. Either way, the term "atrocity" seems slightly over-the-top.

The thing is bollocks, 2 seconds clipped or not, i won't pay money for third inferior shit passed off as remaster, esp if it's gleaned from a duff previous remaster.

I just picked up this CD this week, and I can't say I'm too happy with the sound on the first disc (haven't touched the second one yet). I usually don't pick up on the sound problems; but to me, some tracks did sound a bit muffled, with even a slight warble to them (I especially noticed this on "Go Wild In The Country"). Needless to say, I'm not getting rid of my One-Way copy, or even the Great Expectations issue, if just for the extended versions (both of which I thought sounded fine to begin with). I'll be keeping this one, though, since I don't have "Teenage Queen" or "Joy of Eating Raw Flesh" on anything else.
