Toyah - Dreamchild remaster

Toyah - Dreamchild remaster

Postby Rubellan » Tue Jul 13, 2010 6:16 am

In case anyone is interested in this early 90's dance influenced album, I have remastered it for Cherry Red with several bonus tracks. The CD has now been released, after some production delays. I have two of my sealed extra copies on eBay if anyone wants to purchase it.

Would you be kind enough to give a review of the remastering quality so we know it's not shit? Thanks in advance.

Seriously guys, if this posting is a problem let me know and I'll take it down. The posting appeared topical, as it was announcing a newly remastered and released album and a link to where it can be obtained. I'm the first to admit it's certainly not her best album, but there may be someone here in the U.S. who might want to save a little time and money rather than ordering from the UK.

If the question about remastering is serious, it sounds just fine. Bonus tracks were from some semi-rough sources, which is why I was requested to work on the project.

It's Toyah. Shit would be an improvement.

So it's a combination reissue/marketplace posting, big deal. Whore, these people can't let anything go. Pathetic. Hope they sell, sweetie!

Thanks girly. I can always count on you for support. If they don't sell, I may just dump them at the local used CD shop.

Oh, and I just got my A-ha digi CD. Check that thread for my review. After dropping $28 for the first release, I now get to spend another $28 for the other. But it's all about having this limited, exclusive packaging, right?

While I'm not a Toyah fan (I've never even heard her music), I'm all for updates on new eleases. It's nice to get info straight from the source, so keep it up Rubellan.

I've never listened to this album, but I do like some of Toyah's stuff. I'm considering buying it, only for the fact that Rubellan remastered it. That is something I can back up with my hard earned dollars anytime.
